In 2017, we installed the Hull Vane from Van Oossanen.

In the winter of 2018/2019, we carried out the first overhaul in Antalya. In addition to the painting, we made an enormous weight reduction, as the Hull Vane caused too much stern trim on a lightly loaded boat.

PaintAll exterior surfaces above the waterline were repainted with Awlgrip.
All exterior doors were removed and repainted.
TablesThe marble on all outdoor tables has been removed and replaced with teak.
WhirlpoolThe whirlpool on the sun deck has been removed. (We only used it once, and it reduced about 1 t of weight at the high location.)
VSATThe VSAT antenna was removed (100 kg) (is still in storage)
Owner’s BathroomThe marble in the owner’s bathroom was replaced with wood up to the sink top.
GalleyThe marble floor in the galley was replaced with beech wood (as in all other rooms on the main deck).
Hot Waterthe 3rd 300 l storage tank was removed.
Shore Power Converter The shore power converter was moved from the lazarette to the front of the engine room (500 kg).
Service BatteriesThe service batteries were moved to the STB guest cabin and the captain’s cabin.
Stern AnchorWe stowed the stern anchor in our warehouse on land and added the chain to the bow anchor.
BallastWe removed the lead ballast on Stb of about 1.3 t.

All changes reduced the total weight by ~7 tons. The center of gravity was significantly lowered. The roll rate was reduced from ~9 seconds to ~7 seconds. The stability was noticeably increased.

In the winter of 2020, we replaced the Haman sewage treatment plant with a more modern Selmar system based on ozone with UV treatment.

In 2022, we replaced the Anschütz navigation devices ECDIS, radar and conning with the integrated bridge components NAVI Sailor, NAVI Radar and NAVI Conning from Wärtsilä, as the service for our Anschütz hardware and software was discontinued.

In the winter of 2024/2025, we replaced all other navigation devices except for the Anschütz gyro compass with the latest versions. (Echo sounder, speedometer AIS, DPGS, GPS compass, Inmarsat-C equipment).

After damage, the small 40 kW generator was replaced with a new 35 kW one. This resulted in significantly better diesel consumption in the low load range.
